Buzz For Freedom
Around twelve million honey bees were released after a truck transporting them overturned. The incident happened along Canada's largest highway in St Leonard, New Brunswick.
Royal Canadian Mounted
Police commented that the truck was carrying over three hundred crates of bees. The truck drove up a ramp upon which the load shifted and the truck overturned.
Despite a downpour of rain helping to keep the more chilled out bees under control, the remainder were out on the pavement and hanging on to the back of the truck. Bee experts from Agriculture Canada were called in to help deal with the incident.
Richard Duplain, vice president of the New Brunswick Beekeepers Association, commented that "it's difficult to predict whether the bees would be docile or agitated given their ordeal. It's certainly not a situation where you want to tempt problems. You certainly don't want to go walking through a field of disoriented, agitated and wet honey bees."
Richard Duplain commented that "it's unlikely the bees would survive very long unless they're captured quickly because they wouldn't be under the care and attention of experienced beekeepers." And in one brief statement, Richard Duplain sweeps clean the centuries that bees have survived quite easily without beekeepers. If I'd been one of the bees, I'd have gathered up my most pissy brothers and sisters and disappeared over the horizon. Beats being in a crate any day of the week.

Spud Shot Downs Hubby
The police were called to a house after a woman knocked out her husband with a spud (potato).
The 43-year old woman picked up the spud and hurled it at him when he called her a rude name during a row in Nicholson, Georgia. Such a good shot was the woman that the veggie missile hit him square on the nose. He dropped to the floor, knocked out cold.
The couple had started to argue in the kitchen in the early hours after they had been drinking. The woman said she didn't mean to hit her husband. An exocet spud kinda says different. Whoever said women have no sense of direction are talking nonsense. The woman called police as soon as he soon as he fell unconscious.
Her husband decided not to press charges.

Think you're safe because you're dialling from your own modem on your computer? Sad to say, it may not be as safe as you think.
Thousands of innocent surfers have become the victim of auto-diallers. The auto-diallers are downloaded on to your computer and reset your own modem configuration. This means they essentially knock out your own phone number - you'll probably notice a disconnection as it does so - and introduce the rogue one.
